Absolutely terrible company. Hires therapists that break confidentiality. Don't return phone calls. Can't trust a single thing they say or do. Do not bring your child there. They do not know what they are doing.

This ABA center is absolutely shameful, UNETHICAL. unsanitary and only damages children. It hasn't been cleaned in over 2 years, runs without bathrooms for the children or even a kitchen. Staff are not properly trained at all. ABA is not utilized. No new toys or materials in the 6 months I was there other than staff bringing it in. Multiple reports to every agency and department of health. Speech and OT are not permitted in the building because they know they are doing wrong. Playground is completely dilapidated. Elevator that transports children was due for inspection last year. The entire building is unsafe. Brilliant children are made to sit at a table and comply all day and be quiet. 2 year Olds are forced to stay awake all day by physically making them stand up crying for hours only so they can bill insurance. They lie to parents. The transport vehicles are unsafe, not maintenanced and didnt even have proper child safety locks. Children opened the door multiple times while a single staff member drove. As a mother with a son with Autism I was absolutely horrified working here as a BHT. THIS PLACE NEEDS SHUT DOWN. I hope the local news eventually does a story about "non profits" like Friendhsip house that make millions of dollars and do nothing at all for these kids. Do research there are better options in the area.

Absolute mess of a facility. They treat every kid exactly the same way by some foolish protocol and don't actually get to know the child. My kid has a deep rooted fear of clinical settings. I made an appointment so I could ask the psych NP some questions that I never got to ask because they called my kid back alone and started peppering her with questions. She felt ambushed and attacked. She froze. Then the therapist called us back and continued at her as she sat in the chair, shaking and crying. Our whole family is going through a traumatic experience right now to begin with and this had her further unnerved. I asked my daughter if she was done, she nodded and I took her out of there and terminated service. A system designed to help and protect kids should, at the very least, get to know them as individuals, not just treat them all the same. And don't get me started on the nasty nightmare that does the TOVA testing, I should've pulled her out then. My kid feels attacked and traumatized at a time we genuinely needed the most help. It's a hot mess.

Stay away from this school. They are so unreliable! They cancel only certain kids due to staffing issues and the workers are allllllll over the place. Definitely not a good place to bring your special needs children.

I was at friendship house in 1986. It was HELL I can't believe this place is still open. The amount of abuse I witnessed was horrible. I was lucky I only stayed 30 days . I truly hope and pray things changed. Kids should not be treated the way they were. THEY SHOULD BE CLOSED ZERO STARS
