The Transition House, Inc. – Residential Program

I was a client at the TH in September of 2017. I was there as a doc client. I was treated like a person. The counselor I has was AMAZING.She help me learn how to love myself again. I have been sober ever day since leaving the TH. I also have a loving and healthy relationship with my family,kids, and my husband of 2 years.

The Transition House is a great great program! All the counselors and all the behavioral techs care about every single person that walks through the door! Every group is informative and gives you the tools to exceed quality sobriety! This program is not for people who need it, but for people who want it! One of the greatest things I have learned in this program,is I had to change myself and my old behaviors (not just the ones I wanted)...but all of them! I have been here for 5months and I am truly not the same person that walked in the door on December 31! The administration, staff and clients have helped to make the man I am today! Thank you Transition House! I can truly say I love Christopher Stewart!!!

Starting this new chapter in my life after years of not knowing the REAL ME,began at the Transition House! I am thankful for the staff and the new friendships I made on this journey! Everyone comes in with”their own story”and it’s up to us to change ours! I had an amazing counselor that was able to help me deal with issues from long ago,now I face every day head on(and with a smile)because I know my self worth! Now I see what a bright future I have as a mother…daughter…sister…and one day as a wife! The last 20years have had it’s ups and downs…but one thing I do know for sure,God did bless my broken road!!! 4/26/21

The TTH is saving my life. The staff is amazing.. They Really look out for you and takes care of you.. I love my counselor. The groups are good and veey informative..you are able to phase up here ..get a job..do your commuinty service. It really helps you transition into the real world.

Cannot contact anyone by phone there. A resident continues to harass me and my family, and they do nothing about it. This resident uses their personal cellphone to call my children, hunt them down on social media, even as far as calling/texting my business partner. I have received over 700 communications from this resident, but to no avail. Because the resident is a female, the cops do nothing about it. You took on this person as a resident, thus they are your ward, thus you are responsible. I will take legal action if this continues!
