This is not a recovery house. Not everyone is in recovery. Bugs and roaches and very bad neighborhood. Linda Walker will not return my calls or texts when I told her I need to go somewhere else that's more conducive to my recovery. They also don't mention that Bible study and 6am meetings are mandatory.
I spent a Sunday learning about this organization with Kandy, Caren, and Linda. I thought I was helping - but little did I know a story I would hear would touch my heart and help me in return. Thank you to all of those who donate their time, compassion or guidance to allow this program to flourish. Special thank you to Kandy for giving me the strength to keep going when I needed it the most.
