(My complete honesty) Yesterday, November 29, 2023, I had an appointment here. When I 1st got there I was not pleased with how the lobby looked. So already I had originally gave it 2 stars because now I'm thinking what does the tools look like that has to go in my mouth!? But I really NEEDED this tooth taken of and there were no other clinics that were really taking emergency visits. So I stayed. Once called to the back I didn't really notice the doctors standoff vibe until the end of my appointment when I was told that he saw my review and that I should reconsider my review. Well I am reconsidering it but definitely not for the reason I was told to reconsider. So, after my appointment (which I left the room crying because now my depression has sat in and I now realized I'm missing the bottom half of my mouth) I leave after he spoke. I look at the front desk lady to make sure I don't need to sign out. She looked at me and said have a good day. I looked at her and said "ok, thank you." (While waving at her and cotton was in my mouth to stop the bleeding). So, the office is on the 6th floor. So I had to take the elevator to get up and down. So I'm at the elevator and this is where I'm starting to feel light headed. I leave the elevator door and sit at the closest chair I could get to. I leaned my head back and I blacked out for what seemed like 2-3 minutes. I wake up with blurred vision and I see movement behind the front desk. I yelled for my life "HEY!" As I start to lay my head down on the chiar next to me. I heard her say something which is confirmation for me that she heard me so I feel at ease, somewhat. She came to me and tried talking to me but I really couldn't say anything to anyone because well one... remember I said there was cotton in my mouth? And that the bottom half of my mouth was now missing? Yeah, I had to get my tooth removed because I couldn't afford a root canal. So mouth is still numb and I had cotton in my mouth. They sat me up after they took my coat off (I was fanning because I was hot), took my blood pressure to make sure I was good, called my Aunt and called 911. So, eventually he, the doctor that worked on me, took the cotton out and made sure I wasn't still bleeding but I wasn't really feeling up to talk still because I still didn't feel well and half of my mouth is numb. Should be understandable right? Rescue finally arrived and at this point I'm like I can't go to the hospital, I have to get my children (they're at school) so they checked me and everything and she said "ok can you get on the bed?" I said no (not mentioning my children) I don't want to go I'll wait for my Aunt because at this point I just need to get to my children. I just want my babies but I'm also still not thinking straight because my Aunt could get them (duh! Lol). Anyway they finally talked me into going to the ambulance (which I knew once I got down there and they hooked me up I was going to go). This is where my story stops. Did my rating change? yes! Did my view of the lobby change? No! I still stand on what I said before. Think if this was a restaurant would you be ok with dirty sitting, tables and bugs on the floor? I would hope not. How about let's just take the review of the lobby and do something about it. Let's get it cleaned and let's check the lobby to make sure everything is OK. Its not that big of a deal. I'm sure there are some wipes and a broom back there somewhere. I do it all the time at my job even tho that's not my job title but I still make sure my customers have a clean space to come into. (Not saying they don't clean up but someone should just check throughout the day after customers have been in there, that's all)Now I want to talk about why my rating changed. The doctor (even tho was a little standoff-ish at first) did great on removing my tooth. The staff (including the doctor) that came to my aid was great. They definitely went out of their way to make sure I was ok. I even got a phone call after I left the hospital. So, Thank you to all of you! Thank You! ❤️

The dental hygienist from your office came to visit our classroom for Dental Health Month. They did a great job sharing information with the kids about how to take care of their teeth. Their positive attitudes passed on to the students. They are excited to go home and brush their teeth! Thanks to Edgecombe County for the tooth brushes and toothpaste too. They loved it!

went and got a tooth pulled about 2 years ago and they charged me very little versus the other places, seeing that i wasn’t working as much and had no insurance. It took no time and i loved the warm atmosphere they bring. I will be returning very soon as in today for the same issue and they were so helpful about getting my problem solved and making my appointment so soon! Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a dentist..

Dentist was very rude. It was my child’s first time & he handled things unprofessionally. Grabbing her telling her she doesn’t need to cry, she doesn’t need to hold my sons hand. My child was scared & now she’ll be scared for a while. Will not be coming back. ❌❌ Would not recommend.

My children have been going here ever since they were toddlers. The staff are super nice and dentist is very patient with children. Never have to wait long before being called back to a room.
