a week agoI cannot say enough, good things about Adaptive Home Therapy the office personnel what little I had to deal with them were fantastic. They handled everything. And when it comes to my physical therapist, Liz, I can’t give her enough stars. She was thorough. She explained everything in a way I can understand for each exercise, she asked me to do but what I like most about her was she appreciated my sense of humor and she challenged me. she seemed to know exactly how far I could go and all along our road to getting me well she would give me these little nudges and push me a little further wanting me to do well by myself. She had the confidence in me when I didn’t have confidence in myself.I’m almost sorry to say that today was our last day working together, but even then she said to me , remember if you feel something is going wrong and you need us you let me know.. So all I can say to anyone out there if you’re thinking about a home therapist call Adaptive Home Therapy in toms River. They are aces. God truly blessed me by putting them in my life especially Liz. And on a personal loan, I’m gonna miss her🤗

2 months agoI want to thank the amazing team at Adaptive Home Therapy. Amanda and Caitlin are 2 of the most compassionate, caring and knowledgeable individuals that I have ever known. I have learned so much as they took the time and patience to educate and guide me to help keep my wife Valerie safe and happy. Valerie was so happy to see them on their visits and this added to an increase in speaking as well as being happy and outgoing. I learned so much about being a better and more effective caregiver which helped me keep Valerie safe, happy and well fed and hydrated. I learned toileting skills, getting in and out of the car, up and down steps, eating strategies, changing strategies, learning to read and understand body language and what a Dementia patient is trying to communicate. These past 6 months have been so productive which reduced my stress levels as well as increased my confidence in knowing how to give my wife everything she needs and deserves. I couldn’t have done this without the skilled professionalism of Amanda and Caitlin. Their patients and their company Adaptive Home Therapy are fortunate to have such wonderful, skilled and knowledgeable professionals like Amanda and Caitlin. I will never forget them. Thanks to a great company.
