NEDIC is a phenomenal organization with a passionate, engaged, and dedicated staff. I am fortunate enough to have volunteered and worked with NEDIC about 17 years ago (eek!), and now regularly refer to their services while working in the ED treatment field. We are incredibly lucky to have them as a partner supporting the ED community. They offer many important services and do so effectively - including education, training, resources, a help-line, matching/referral support, advocacy, and more. They train their staff diligently and approach clients with patience and compassion. Way to go, NEDIC team - thank you for all you do!
Their website has many helpful resources for all audiences, especially parents and caregivers. Staff on the instant chat were very kind and helpful in providing resources and referrals for a family member seeking treatment.
As someone working in the eating disorder field, I rely on NEDIC's excellent services. I frequently refer clients to them in order to get high quality information. When I was struggling with an eating disorder many years ago, I found life saving information through NEDIC. Their conference is an incredible event that brings together professionals from around the world. Staff are caring and knowledgable. Thank you for the work you do NEDIC.
It looks like your last review was 4 years ago!!!! NEDIC website appears not updated since Covid. No treatment programs are listed - ie Credit Valley, TGH. Whats going on??????
