Came as a walk-in to the dentist for a bridge. Despite the bad reviews for the dental aspect, the service was attentive and effective despite not even making an appt. I was so happy after running around to multiple dentist that for some reason did not accept DC Medicaid (what’s the point of free healh insurance if no one accepts it like a regular PPO!) Regardless, the lovely people at Mary’s Center (Georgia Ave-Petworth) provide me phenomenal care and service!

Tried giving the mary center dental clinic a try and my experience was VERY shaky. I made a check up appointment a couple months ago and when I got there the staff were rushing around and I had to wait in a room for a bit after X-rays. That's fine I thought, they were busy. But then it came to the point I met the dentist and after poking my teeth a bit she told her assistant to do a cleaning and pictures. The assistant for some reason skipped cleaning my teeth because she just said come over here and grabbed a camera, I didn't question it even though I heard the instruction for a clean. Next appointment I went in for fillings and was disappointing. I waited an hour and a half! I asked maybe twice about the wait time since patients came in and out. I think they got annoyed, one desk person rolled their eyes and a lady calling my name to come to the back yelled out like she was annoyed. Vibe was off for sure. My fillings weren't even done smoothly. It still feels a bit rough like sandpaper. Dentist asked if I had a cleaning I said not yet but proceeded to do my fillings anyway. When I checked out a receptionist said they had to contact my insurance to figure out a time for a cleaning. Surprised me since that should have been done the first appointment?? Never got a call. So for my second fillings appointment I had to reschedule twice. When I tried rescheduling the phone rep (David?) said I have to come in person to reschedule this time. I asked why and he said "that's how it has to be done". I've never been to a clinic or dental place that asked for that, I don't live that close to the location either to just waltz in and reschedule as their desk. Inconvenient. So it had to be marked as a cancellation instead. I wanted to end that call so fast lol This place likely doesn't care about their clients. The staff in the front don't look like they want to be there. Avoid this dental office like previous reviews said. Not worth it.

This is specifically for the dental clinic at this location. I had an 8:30am appt and arrived 15 mins before and waited in the reception. They finally opened at 8:39am and told me that the dental clinic was on another floor. I arrived at the dental 8:40 and waited in line until 8:43 and was told they no longer had space for me i complained but apparently but, it was my fault. Whatever, they gave me an appt for the next day. I then complained at the general reception and eventually got a call from a supervisor to apologize but I was gone by then and they could only see me in 2 hrs. Staff had told the supervisor, incorrectly, that I was late. Next time I go, it took about 20 mins past my appt time to see me. I get x rays and an evaluation and I'm sent off. I ask about my cleaning which was what I made the appt for and they tell me I have to make another appt. If they would have told me at any point that this appt was not for a cleaning, I would have been fine or go elsewhere but no communication, even after I said I was there for a cleaning!! So? I try to make a new appt and I am informed I need to call because they don't have availability! I like Marys center, I go to Ontario and have no issues. I quite like my OBGYN, therapist and NP. I've even had surgery w their team 2x and no complaints. This dental clinic is something else! No lo recomiendo. Los doctores y técnicos seran buenos en la clinica dental (no lo se) pero el sistema es tan ineficiente q no vale la pena ir.

I do not recommend this pharmacy. They tell you that the medicine is there and then take a long time to tell you that the medicine is not there. There is only 1 and I have to wait one or two more days because they do not have all the medicine. I also spoke with a supervisor and it was because they wanted to train the employees more. They are very rude

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Mary Center Dental that I feel compelled to share. During my visit, I was not only inconvenienced by long wait time, but I was also belittled by Dr. C or S the younger doctor, regarding my dental hygiene (I know he have seen worse). His condescending attitude was both unprofessional and upsetting. To make matters worse, I wasn’t able to be seen because they didn’t start my appointment on time and was rushing. I was stuck with a “consultation” after all I wanted was a cleaning. This experience left me feeling frustrated and disrespected. I cannot recommend Mary Center to anyone seeking respectful and professional dental care.
