Was nice to see your booth at the White Rock Farmer's Market. Financially supporting this group is not hard to do. First they bought us a comedy night called "Addictive Comedy", an evening at Kent Street. Sunday, a family carnival style, summer picnic with live music and events for fundraising, with the kids. Visable and community-based. Good job Avalon - White Rock, nice to see this .....
This place is soft, quaint and friendly. As an AA member, I never liked going to mixed meetings but I didnt know why until I came here. Now I come to more meetings than just AA and join groups that they put on. It's so cozy and comfortable there and I cant wait to see the completed renovation.
Some very kind women in the Avalon group but some very cliquey, selfish, self-centered women there as well, who posture as if they have good programs. Won't go back, sadly.
