I cannot recommend Premier Birth Center enough!!! My whole family felt taken care of and supported. We gave birth at the center and the room was so cozy and comfortable. Heather was so incredible and all of the midwives and office people were so responsive and made us feel loved and heard. I cannot think of a better place to welcome a child into the world!

Heather and all the staff at Premier Birth Center are wonderful to work with. I have used them for my past two pregnancies. Heather is knowledgeable and always took the time to listen to any concerns that I may have had. I highly recommend them.

Heather is wonderful as is the whole team! After previous births with a typical OB office, this pregnancy and birth was completely different at Premier Birth. I was treated with respect and dignity. I had SO many more options. I wasn’t just a number, Heather laughed and cried with me. True health care.

I went to Premier for my prenatal visits and attempted to labor and deliver at Premier. While I know everyone’s experience may vary, I wanted to leave a review to give a heads up to other mothers considering Premier. If I were to become pregnant again, I plan for a homebirth with no involvement from Premier ever again. Pros: Midwives are very knowledgeable and kind. Cons: 1. One of the midwives was constantly late for my morning appointments. I usually had the first appointment of the day and we are talking up to 15-20 minutes late. Our visits were quick, literally 5-10 minutes. It almost made no sense to go there. 2. I was given expired glucose solution for my glucose test, 1 year expired and a few months expiry on the second solution. I had already ingested the solution by the time I noticed the expiry date. When I talked to the midwife about it, she dismissed the importance and said it would be fine, which I found alarming, as using expired materials could produce inaccurate results. I was also given an expired saline IV drip that expired by 1 month, and again I was dismissed and told that it wasn’t a problem. 3. During labor, I wasn’t progressing fast enough in their opinion. I was given two options to continue or go to the hospital. We were told that the position of the baby could be delaying labor in which they didn’t have the equipment by one midwife. When we notified them of the hospital decision, the other midwife suddenly told us they could check the position with their tools, so I’m not sure where the confusion or miscommunication occurred. Also, during all of my visits, I don’t recall being informed that in order to remain at the center while in labor progress needs to be noted every 4 hours, so please take note. I started to feel like an inconvenience during a very vulnerable time. Disappointed in this place and the experience that I had.

After a traumatic emergency cesarean at the hospital with my first child, I knew I wanted a VBAC with my second. And, wow! I was provided the dream team experience. Nancy, my phenomenal midwife, Sumayya, the naturally-gifted student midwife, and the amazing staff at the Premier Birth Center Chantilly (PBC) intimately welcomed my daughter to the world. PBC is doing something incredible here. Throughout my whole pregnancy, in every appointment, the midwives and staff made me feel supported. They truly value patient care, earning my trust and advocacy. These are two crucial traits every woman needs during pregnancy, birthing, and postpartum. I now look back on my 26-hour laboring as a natural and peaceful process, rather than traumatic. I thank you and my family thanks you. You all deserve the utmost appreciation!
